About Avinger Wine Festival
Welcome to Our Story
In 2012 CRESS Community Foundation was formed as a community nonprofit foundation. Our goal was to raise funds to finance student scholarships, donate to the Avinger Food Pantry and the AVFD and other projects.
During our early planning sessions, came the birth of the AvingerWine Festival. A smashing success from the start, didn't stop us from critiquing and tweeking to make it even better. A location change, although an anxious time, proved to be a blessing.
We had the perfect spot for our Wine Garden and spacious grounds for our artisan vendors, food trucks and entertainment. Today, our wineries still enjoy the personal touch we give, the quaint backdrop of the Piney Woods, and the ardent customers they have come to know.
We continue to benefit our community and help make Avinger a destination locale.
